Andy Rickman is in charge of the Rickman Law Group. Mr. Rickman’s practice focuses on representing whistleblowers who submit information to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) pursuant to the Dodd-Frank Act. Mr. Rickman has extensive experience making submissions to the SEC on behalf of whistleblowers who want to report corporate violations of the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and U.S. securities violations. He works with these information providers to help ensure that their identities are protected and their rights to a reward are preserved.
Mr. Rickman believes it is extremely important that his clients understand that they can make their submissions to the SEC without providing their names and that their information is protected under the terms of the Dodd-Frank Act. He is a frequent speaker on the Dodd-Frank’s whistleblower provisions. protections, and reward program.
Prior to founding the Rickman Law Group, Mr. Rickman was Hagen, Streiff, Newton & Oshiro’s (HSNO) General Counsel for its nineteen offices. He also managed HSNO’s Washington, DC Metro office. Before joining HSNO, Mr. Rickman worked nine years at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom’s Washington, DC office where he was a Counsel in the International Government Enforcement Litigation Group and Criminal and Civil Litigation practice.
